Madi likes to hang out in the backyard of our house. Check out the crocs. Too cute! They were a baby shower gift from our good friends, the Labovicks. I love to see her wearing them!

Baptism Day for Madi
Today was Madi's Baptism Day. It was a wonderful day spent with the people we all love and who love Madi very much!
Since we seem to be somewhat of an untraditional family, we decided to continue down that path which has been great for us, and Madi has 2 Godmothers instead of the traditional Godmother and Godfather pair! Madi is truly blessed to have two of the most INCREDIBLE women to be her Godmothers: In order of appearance in the picture:
Jacqueline Farinas Ruz and Maria Ramirez
Alex loves her baby sister!
Okay, so it's kind of like a wedding for us Cubans! This is the baptismal gown that Alex wore on her baptism. We were amazed that it fit Madison since Alex was baptized at 2 months of age and Madi is 14 months...and Madi is not a small baby by any means! But both of them look beautiful in this gown which, hopefully, will be passed down to their children one day...when I am an old Grandma!

Baptism Continued
Madi with her "Abu and Abu"
...it's supposed to be "Abu and Abi", but Madi calls them both "Abu". Although when you ask her who is "Abi" she is able to distinguish betweent the two.
The Baptism Reception was at The Rusty Pelican Restaurant in Key Biscayne.
This was the cake which was made to look just like the Baptismal Gown!
Yes, they are twins! Aren't they adorable times two???
