Madi's First Day of Preschool!!

I can't believe my baby is growing up so fast! Today was Madi's first day at Preschool. She was very excited to go and play with "the kids". She loves her new Strawberry Shortcake backpack and can even say "strawberry shortcake"!

New York to see Sabina

We have been to New York many times, in fact, I was born there...but this trip to New York was VERY special!
It was the first time that Madi and Sabina saw eachother since they said good-bye in Kazakhstan in 2007.

Sabina is Madi's oldest friend. They were babyhouse-mates (can that really be a word?) in Astana.
It was so wonderful to see Sabina and her mom, Carolyn!

Madi's First Haircut

Today Madi got her first Haircut! We went to a place called Cartoon Cuts that specialize in kids. As you can see, they have tvs set up in front of every chair. That was a hit! Madi spent the entire time watching "Go Diego Go" and was a bit annoyed at the stylist when she dared get between her and the TV! It was funny! But, hey, it worked! And now our baby looks like such a big girl!!!

Disney for Valentines Day!

This year we celebrated Valentine's Day at Disney! It was lots of fun!!!
Madi had a great time with her sister, Alex, and Caro.
I think Madi likes Mickey the best out of the Disney Characters. We went to a Character Breakfast and by the time Donald came around Madi had had enough of kissing and hugging the characters...see what I mean?
