As you already know from previous posts, no Madi on Sundays! We missed her today...her little smiling face...
So, on Sundays they take us to see the sights of Astana. Actually, it's one sight per Sunday apparently.
This is the newest area of Astana where the President's house and other governmental offices are.
We went up to the top of this monument and there was a nice view of the city. I will post the pictures from the top in another post. For some reason, I am only able to post a few pictures at a time with the program I am using.
Also, notice all of the cranes in the distance. TONS of construction going on here!

hey you guys. i bet you can't wait to see Madi tomorrow. Glad you are getting out and about. What else can you do? We are really missing you guys from this end. it feels weird not being able to just pick up the phone and call. Come home soon... by the way... when does that happen?
